This is the most played and redone story in history!! It is absolutely mind-blowing when you think about its impact and the insatiable thirst that we have for it. It’s a never ending story that definitely stood the test of time!

Many people call it actually The Best Christmas Movie. Why? Because Todd Haynes unwraps the essence of holiday emotions in a lesbian romance, blending joy and melancholy with cinematic grace. It’s like the perfect Christmas gift! And on top of that, we have the fascinating and mysterious Cate Blanchett and the fabulous Rooney Mara in a dazzling, yet delicate love dance. It blends vulnerability with insatiable passion and excitement, offering all the emotions that we go through during Christmas time. Oh, and it is also set during the Christmas of 1952. It’s modern and it reflects more real and raw what we feel today, behind the – sometimes masked – joy of the holidays.
